We are actively seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Lancaster, South Carolina for a 13-week contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated rehabilitation team while helping patients improve independence, functional mobility, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), therapeutic exercises, and functional mobility training
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Active COTA License
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• SNF experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and patient care skills
