Travel Mammography Technologist - $2,245 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a travel position in Washington, District of Columbia. Start date: 06/29/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support. Interpret doctors’ written instructions. Perform mammography studies and maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards. Develop mammograms, observe results, retake as needed, and forward completed studies to the radiologist for interpretation. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist. BLS certification. ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography. State‑specific licensing when required. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
