About the Role
- We are seeking a motivated Commercial Insurance Producer to join our established Farmers Insurance agency. This is a client-facing, results-driven role ideal for a proactive salesperson who enjoys building relationships and helping businesses protect what theyve built.
- You will drive growth in new commercial lines while delivering excellent service and strategic risk advice to business clients of all sizes.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new commercial insurance business through networking, referrals, centers of influence, and outbound activity
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored coverage solutions (Businessowners Policy, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, etc.)
- Prepare and present professional quotes and proposals
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and support retention
- Collaborate with agency staff and underwriters to ensure accurate placement and outstanding service
- Stay current on Farmers products, underwriting guidelines, and market trends
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred; willingness and ability to obtain quickly required
- Proven sales experience (insurance preferred; strong B2B or consultative sales background also considered)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently while being a strong team player
- Goal-oriented with a competitive drive and professional demeanor
