Part-Time Psychiatrist

To provide clinical leadership and direct patient care within a hospital-based behavioral health unit, the part-time Medical Director of Inpatient Psychiatry will manage telehealth rounding, admissions, and treatment planning while overseeing quality standards and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fully remote setting. Key responsibilities Serve as the clinical leader for the inpatient psychiatric service line, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care Conduct psychiatric evaluations, admissions, and follow-up visits, including daily rounding and medication management Collaborate with hospital leadership on program development, performance improvement, and operational alignment Required qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist with previous hospital-based Medical Director experience Unrestricted, independent licensure and established CAQH and FCVS profiles Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups, particularly in acute crisis settings Advanced technical proficiency in telehealth, including multiple EMRs and Microsoft software Ability to thrive in a collaborative, solutions-oriented, and inclusive environment
