Position Details Department : Assessment Grade : 150 Salary : $19.93/hour Job Duties Responsible for inspecting and recording the property characteristics of commercial, residential, and agricultural properties for (re)valuation purposes. Collects, corrects, updates and maintains property file information. Requires attention to detail and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Mass appraisal data collection training is provided. Minimum Qualifications Must have a High School diploma/GED, two years of college and/or five years of general clerical work experience. One year of progressively responsible experience in appraisal, building trades, construction and/or homes sales and one year of residential data collection and property measurement preferred. Must possess problem‑solving skills, spatial ability to read maps and locate physical location, math skills and work independently. Must possess/maintain valid Missouri/Kansas Driver’s License and provide reliable transportation and insurance. Must pass pre‑employment drug and background screen.
