Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

RNs who obtained their RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold a MO, IL, or Compact license require an extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:
Step-down or PCU experience, stroke care/Neuro experience, and experience caring for post-cardiac cath patients.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Cares for CHF, CVA, COPD, stroke, post-thrombectomy after 24 hours, and post-cath patients.
Also cares for total joint replacement, neuro spine, general surgery, wounds, diabetic, medical COVID, and oral surgery patients.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend required.
Orientation may occur outside typical contract hours; shift times and schedule during orientation may vary from the normal contract shift.

Floating Requirements:
Required to float between Progress West and St. Peters as needed.
Float required to MS and ICU; RN will be assigned non-ICU level/lower acuity patients that align with skill level.
