Gas Fuser / Pipe Fitter, Rochester

Description Team Fishel, a leading utility construction employer, is hiring a Gas Fuser / Pipe Fitter to support projects at our Rochester, PA facility and throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. The role involves installing steel or plastic gas piping of all sizes using a variety of methods. Responsibilities Install new gas mains and services using tools related to poly pipe fusion, black iron, and HVAC work. Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by poly fusion, mechanical joining, threading, and flanges. Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, observation, or other methods. Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading. Layout pipe, supports, and related equipment following blueprints. Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications. Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment using hand and power tools. Requirements & Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent. At least 1 year of related work experience. Valid CDL driver’s license is a plus but not required. Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing). Occasional extended travel required (per diem paid for all out‑of‑town projects). Benefits Competitive pay ranging from $24 to $30 per hour, commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.
