Dental Assistant Job Opening (3+ Years Experience) – Warren & Rumford, RI | $28–$30/Hour

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support a busy general dental practice serving patients in Warren and Rumford, Rhode Island. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated dental professional who enjoys delivering quality patient care while working alongside an experienced clinical team.

Dental Assistant will assist with chairside procedures, maintain treatment rooms, perform digital imaging, and help ensure efficient daily operations within the practice.

Work Schedule:

Warren Office

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Rumford Office

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

As a Dental Assistant, you will:

• Welcome patients and help create a comfortable, positive experience throughout their appointment.

• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.

• Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral scans as directed by the dentist.

• Prepare treatment rooms before procedures and clean operatories afterward.

• Clean, sterilize, and organize dental instruments following established infection control protocols.

• Maintain OSHA compliance and follow all applicable safety and sterilization guidelines.

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices when appropriate.

• Assist with general clinical and administrative tasks to support daily practice operations.

Qualifications:

To be considered, applicants should have:

• At least 3 years of dental assisting experience.

• Any dental assisting certification or state-required license needed to perform clinical duties in Rhode Island.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.

• A stable employment history demonstrating reliability and professionalism.

Compensation:

• Pay: $28.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience)
