Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2856.00/week - Job Summary: The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides specialized perioperative nursing care during intraoperative surgical procedures. They ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care in the operating room and related perioperative settings, acting as advocates for patients and supervising assigned personnel. Responsibilities: Direct and plan perioperative nursing activities to ensure high-quality patient care. Implement the care plan by protecting patients from injury and ensuring correct surgical procedures. Administer medications safely and verify patient and specimen management in accordance with policies. Communicate patient status effectively among interdisciplinary team members throughout the surgical process. Document nursing interventions accurately and maintain compliance with legal and organizational standards. Collaborate with healthcare team members, utilizing problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Qualifications: Hold an Associate of Science in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Possess a current RN license in the State of Oregon. Maintain BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications; TNCC is required. Demonstrate ability to work independently and adapt to changing tasks efficiently. Recognize the importance of patient confidentiality and communicate empathetically. Experience is preferred in perioperative nursing, with additional certifications such as CNOR advantageous.
