Job Title:Maintenance TechnicianReports To:Maintenance ManagerPay Range:$20.00 to $26.00Location:Golden Ring, MD BranchSummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structuresEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInspect buildings, equipment, and systems for stability and qualityMaintain plumbing, heating, electrical, and other equipmentConduct maintenance of electrical systemsPerform routine repairs for company equipment and facilities as instructedPerform tasks such as parts replacement, cleaning, landscaping, etc.Undertake pest control as neededPerform building modifications as needed (constructing walls, laying floors, lighting and door installation/removal, painting, moving furniture, demolition, etc.)Other DutiesOther duties as assignedOccasional out of town work, requiring overnight staysEquipment UsedHand tools and common appliancesMisc. power equipment (scissor lift, boom lift, forklift, etc.)Work EnvironmentTemperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatureSubject to extreme temperatures (hot/cold)QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDBasic understanding of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other systemsStrong understanding of general maintenance processes and methodsExcellent verbal communication skillsCurrent driver’s licenseMust pass a DOT physicalPhysical DemandsAbility to lift up to 75 poundsComfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenanceMust be able to withstand frequent standing, bending, lifting, pulling, and climbingPhysical stamina to stay active throughout the workdayMust be able to safely climb and work from ladders and work at heightsMust be able to safely work at heightsMay encounter extreme temperatures at job sitesAvailable Benefits:You will be eligible to participate in the Company’s benefits program on first of the month after 45 days of employment.
