What You'll Do

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical/surgical patients in a hospital setting
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Use the nursing process to monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise team members
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Support efforts to improve patient satisfaction and safety

What You Need

Current Louisiana RN license
Minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and on a team
Proficiency in electronic medical records and healthcare software
