Location: 188 Eastern Avenue, Augusta, ME 04330 What You'll Do As a Housekeeper Supervisor, you and your team create a clean, safe, healing environment throughout the facility. Your leadership and attention to detail will directly impact the quality of life for our team and those in our care. Key Responsibilities Hire, train and lead housekeeping and /or laundry team Develop and maintain department schedule to ensure adequate staffing Performs periodic inspections of the building and grounds to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols Collaborate with other staff members to address resident needs and maintain a safe and clean environment Ensures all facility policies and procedures are followed and updated as needed Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies If you are passionate about making a real difference in people's lives through the healing power of a clean environment, and would like to grow your career, we invite you to join our Housekeeping / Environmental Services team! What You’ll Bring Qualifications of a Housekeeping Supervisor include: High school graduate or equivalent preferred Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in institutional housekeeping and laundry services Ability to read, write and comprehend English Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Knowledge of cleaning protocols, infection control, fire prevention and safety measures in long-term care are highly valued but not required; training will be provided Compassionate and empathetic nature Ability to work effectively in a team environment We Hire for Heart!
