Job Description

TLC Care Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and responsible hourly caregivers for full-time and part-time positions in the Eagle River area. We are looking for caregivers who can provide quality in-home support and safely transport clients to appointments and other necessary destinations.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

Must currently live in Alaska. Alaska residents only.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation .
Must be willing and able to transport clients to appointments as needed.
No relocation assistance, travel expenses, or housing provided.
Pay rate: Based on experience and certifications.
Flexible scheduling options available!

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Offer medication reminders as directed.
Safely assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment when needed.
Prepare simple meals and snacks and perform light housekeeping.
Transport clients to medical appointments and other necessary destinations.
Monitor client safety and report concerns to the care coordinator.

Qualifications

Previous caregiving experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Responsible, punctual, patient, and compassionate.
Strong communication and observation skills.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Legally eligible to work in Alaska.
