Sit-down forklift operator

We are seeking a precise, safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support our client's warehouse operations. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience handling sit-down propane/electric forklifts, an active certification, and a proactive approach to maintaining a zero-incident workplace.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of documented experience operating a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification: Current, valid Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification required.
• Safety Record: Demonstrated history of clean, collision-free machine operation and commitment to safety procedures.
• Physical Ability: Capability to sit for extended periods, perform basic lifting (up to 50 lbs), and conduct standard eye/hand-foot coordination tasks.

salary: $19 - $21 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Operation & Handling: Safely operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, stack, and stage materials throughout the facility.
• Safety Protocols: Perform strict daily pre-operation equipment inspections, report defects immediately, and adhere to all OSHA and site-specific safety standards.
• PIT Mastery: Navigate tight aisles, high-traffic zones, and pedestrian walkways while maintaining complete control, proper horn usage, and safe speed limits.
• Inventory Accuracy: Transport staging pallets, rack materials, and freight securely without damaging product, structures, or machinery.
