Join DELANDE SUPPLY CO INC as a Counter Sales representative and be the face of our customer service! In this dynamic role, you'll connect with customers, provide expert product knowledge, and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service in Peabody, MA. Multiple avenues for advancement. Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at the sales counter with product inquiries and transactions.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on products and services.
- Process sales orders efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with stock management.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional manner.
- Stay updated on product offerings and industry trends.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in retail or counter sales preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.
