Join us for the opportunity to create groundbreaking games with some of the best developer talent in the industry.We are looking for an experienced and talented Build & Release Engineer who will report to the Lead Tools & Systems engineer to join our team on an unannounced project. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the build and release pipelineGather requirements from the team to determine highest priority improvements to be madeCollaborate across domains on releases and updatesInstill in the team best practices when it comes to DevOps and CIImplement systems that promote stability, correctness and adherence to budgetBuild automated systems to assist in quality and performance trackingRequired Qualifications3+ years of build engineering2+ years of experience in scripting and automation using one or more of Groovy, Python, bash, or similar.Experience working in highly collaborative environmentsExperience working with consoles and first parties on a AAA gameExperience with automated build systems such as Jenkins or equivalentExperience using Perforce or other SCM toolsExperience with remote hardware managementFamiliarity with Unreal Engine, Unity or equivalent development and build pipelinesDesired QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or relevant fieldExperience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5Comfortable with C++ or C#Passion for gamesExperience with JIRA or other task management softwareStrong communication skillsCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.BASE SALARY RANGES• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):º $143,150 - $221,750• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):º $130,600 - $221,750• Jersey City, NJ :º $130,600 - $221,750• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):º $130,600 - $181,850• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):º $130,600 - $210,000Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
