Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days/Nights Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to oncology patients in an acute care setting
• Administer chemotherapy and related treatments in accordance with ONS/ONCC standards
• Support bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients throughout their care continuum
• Accurately document patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
• Float to other units or facilities as needed based on staffing and patient care requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient oncology experience
• Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience
• Teaching hospital experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
• Prior experience working within a large academic or university-affiliated medical system
