Applied AI Engineer

Working remotely, the full-time Applied AI Engineer will develop and maintain LLM agent systems, automate engineering workflows, and contribute to the evolution of enterprise AI systems focused on enhancing health journeys through AI-powered experiences. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain LLM agent systems using AWS Bedrock, LangChain, and LangSmith, focusing on core agent capabilities Build AI automation tools to enhance engineering workflows, including code review assistance and testing automation Implement safety-critical flows and manage model selection, ensuring system reliability and observability Required qualifications 3-5 years of backend engineering experience in a production environment, using Python or a similar programming language Demonstrable hands-on experience building and operating production LLM/agent systems Experience with LLM evaluation methods and safety mechanisms for LLM systems Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and managed LLM services Experience in health tech or other high-trust, safety-sensitive domains
