Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician to join our team Obstetrics and Gynecology - Cherry in Grand Rapids, Michigan . This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
• Full time is 4 days/week
• Office hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI
• Specialty: Ob/Gyn
• Hospital Info: Trinity Health Grand Rapids
• Provider Team Size: 11 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Professionals
• Office/support team: Work with 1.5 MA/RN support at all times during patient care. Phone triage RNs, BOC, Surgical Schedules, Office Lead, and Office Supervisor
• Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students
• Call Requirements: Call is 1:9 currently, 24-hour shifts (7am to 7am)
• Weekends are 7am Friday to 7am Monday
  • Weekend call is typically split but can be taken in full
• All weekends and holidays are split equally among the call partners

• Ultrasound available in the office
• Onsite parking with security

• Accessible to subspecialties including: Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Level 3 NICU on site.

Requirements

• Considering new graduates and experience physicians

• Physicians shall be board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.

• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
• ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
