Information Security Engineer, Code Security

Salary: $112,000 - 152,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for an Information Security Engineer with at least 1 year of GenAI/LLM development experience.
• We need hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock or a comparable hosted LLM platform.
• We require a solid background in security and application security.
• We expect experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• We need familiarity with Jenkins and GitHub.
• We require experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• We are looking for knowledge of SAST, SCA, and common application vulnerabilities.
• We need strong software development and engineering experience.
• We expect experience in cloud and security engineering.

• We build and support an LLM-based vulnerability detection and reporting platform.
• We design prompts, agents, model calls, guardrails, and token and cost controls.
• We develop an evaluation framework to assess scanner accuracy.
• We create CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, and ECS.
• We integrate security findings and telemetry with Splunk.
• We support, patch, tune, and improve the scanner after deployment.
• We collaborate with security, engineering, and product teams.
• We participate in a 24/7 rotating four-person shift schedule.

We are hiring a remote Information Security Engineer IV to help us build and support an LLM-based code vulnerability detection and reporting platform. Our work centers on GenAI/LLM, AWS, DevOps, and application security, with an emphasis on practical engineering and operational support. The role also includes exposure to AWS IAM, ECS/Fargate, Python, Splunk, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, agentic and multi-step LLM workflows, Docker, Linux, Agile practices, financial services, and AWS Security Specialty, Solutions Architect, Security+, CISSP, or SANS credentials as nice-to-have skills.
