Position Overview The Registered Nurse at Home Care is responsible for providing skilled nursing services and patient education in the home care setting. The Registered Nurse will conduct the initial assessment visit in the home to determine whether the patient is appropriate for admission to the Agency and will develop and implement the patient’s plan of care in accordance with physician orders. Primary Department, Division, or Unit Skilled Nursing, UHS Home Care Primary Work Shift Day Compensation Range $33.57 - $51.39 per hour, depending on experience Eligibility for Benefits You will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours. Education/Experience – Minimum Required Graduate of an approved RN program OR a non-approved program supplemented by content equal to an approved program. Two years’ experience as a Registered Professional Nurse required OR equivalent of education and experience. Education/Experience – Preferred Bachelor’s degree in nursing Med/Surg/Certified home care experience. License/Certification – Minimum Required License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. CPR Certification required upon hire.
