Collision Estimator

Overview The Estimator’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates and coordinating repair needs for customers. This includes all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses vehicle damage and documents required repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator contributes to the customer’s positive experience by working with the team to achieve the repair facility’s KPIs. Responsibilities Document and update every customer interaction with pertinent details Provide customers with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and delivering excellent customer service Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics Comply with WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery Communicate customer requests and needs to appropriate team members Provide positive customer greetings in person and on the phone Possess an understanding of required insurance programs and procedures Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team as required Support team members as needed Attend Health & Safety and staff meetings as required Attend training, information sessions, and workshops recommended by the Store Manager Qualifications Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines High School Diploma or equivalent Awareness of where to look for answers Basic computer skills Compliance for DRPs (Direct Repair Programs) Minimum of 1 year of related experience Willingness to complete I-CAR training Valid driver’s license Additional Information Please note: This job description is not designed to cover every possible activity or responsibility and duties may change at any time with or without notice.
