Afterschool Babysitter for 8-Year-Old

We are seeking a responsible and engaging babysitter for afterschool care of our 8-year-old boy in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC area. The position involves supervision from Monday, June 1, 2026, to Monday, June 8, 2026, during the hours of 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with an additional evening shift on June 1, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties are required. Our home has two cats, so comfort with pets is necessary. A parent may work from home but may need to step out for an emergency; alternatively, if all parties are agreeable, you may need to pick up our child from school. We are looking for someone who is reliable, enjoys interacting with children, and can create a safe, fun environment.
