Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center, a division of Cedars‑Sinai, offers a full range of imaging services for adults and children. Each year, almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures are performed and interpreted at the center. Our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer‑service oriented staff provide our patients with brand‑new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a conscientious environment. Summary of Essential Duties Observe signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to medications/treatments/procedures Administration of medication and therapeutic agents Assesses signs and symptoms to resolve normal vs. abnormal characteristics Plans and implements care based on observations Implements and documents appropriate reporting, referrals and care with standardized practices and procedures Initiates emergency procedures when indicated Identifies patients' ability to adhere instructions and give consent Identifies and assesses patient safety concerns, intervenes to provide a safe environment and evaluates efficiency of intervention for patients Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program required BSN preferred License/Certification Current, unrestricted California RN License ACLS or PALS certification Experience A minimum of 3 years of Acute Care Nursing experience required 2 years of Imaging Nursing experience preferred Ability to read EKGs, expert at IV starting, and monitoring sedated patients of all ages Comfortable educating patients about pending procedures required Experience responding to codes highly preferred Preferred: Prior experience with implantable cardiac devices, including the ability to perform interrogation and reprogramming of devices for patients undergoing MRI scans Working Title: Registered Nurse II - 10 Hour Days Department: Imaging Nursing Business Entity: Cedars‑Sinai Medical Center Job Category: Nursing Job Specialty: Nursing Position Type: Full-time Shift Length: 10 hour shift Shift Type: Day Base Pay: $49.04 - $78.46 #J-18808-Ljbffr Dev
