The primary responsibilities are at a designated customer location in Chandler; periodic support may be required at other local customer locations. The targeted compensation range for this position is $26-30 per hour, depending on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. A Field Service Technician II installs, inspects, troubleshoots, and maintains the company's vacuum pumps and equipment. We are looking for people with 3+ years of experience with field service of mechanical equipment, in an industrial or technical customer environment.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform field service preventive maintenance work and advanced field service repair, including modifications to equipment at the customer sitePerform equipment health check: check base pressure, pumping speed, and test other vital components to ensure optimal performanceConduct warranty evaluations and submit all warranty-related service reports and documentation, as assignedFulfill field service safety requirements including safety training, safety certifications, and maintain safety equipment/tooling as instructedRelay customer issues, problems, and complaints to the Team Lead or Supervisor; expediting critical issues as deemed necessaryAccurate completion of all necessary documentation and reports for assigned work activities, utilizing approved programs and software within the timeline set forth by managementCommunicate equipment status to tool owner or equipment engineerRelay pricing information on parts, service support, or new equipment to customers when requestedDevelop mutually beneficial business relationships with end-user customers to maintain, grow and promote the company after sale parts, products, and service(s) businessMaintain good housekeeping of work areaConduct weekly walk throughs of all assigned pumps and abatement systems to ensure that the equipment is in good working conditionPerform advanced troubleshooting on all assigned equipmentPerform pump exchanges, equipment startup, and operator training unassisted, as assignedRequired Experience3-5 years of experience with basic mechanical equipment, in an industrial or technical equipment field service-related positionPreferred Mechanical aptitudeRequired Electrical knowledgePreferred Computer Skills: Basic knowledge and use of a laptop, basic applications, Microsoft applications such as Office and ExcelRequired High School Diploma/GEDPreferred Associates' Degree in ElectronicsCertifications & Licenses: Must maintain a valid Driver's license that meets Busch insurance standardsPersonal QualificationsDetail and safety-orientedOutstanding customer service skills, including relationship building and good salesmanship skillsThe ability to handle dynamic working environments and manage difficult situationsExcellent oral and written English communication skillsAbility to work well independently and with a teamOutstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skillsCapable of learning new information quicklyJob RequirementsAbility and willingness to pass a 9-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history checkMost felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basisMust pass respirator fit test (annual retesting required)Must be willing to maintain facial hair to a minimum for respirator fitmentMust be willing and able to utilize all required PPETravel requirement: up to 5%Able to work on short notice and outside normal business hours, and cover other shifts, when neededMust be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship; Busch does not sponsorPhysical Requirements: Constant reaching outward, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 10lbs Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 50lbs Occasional climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching above the shoulder, and lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 100lbs All applicants must be able to hear and see audible and visual alarms and must be able to wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes, electrical hazards, safety glasses, and hearing protection.Benefits & OpportunitiesBusch Vacuum Solutions offers an attractive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, EAP, tuition reimbursement, Legal Plan, 401K, PTO, and more!
