Comprehensive Ophthalmologist. To evaluate and treat ophthalmic conditions ensuring proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests and follow‑up visits and refers patients to specialists as needed. Familiar with standard practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is one of Georgia’s largest independent, physician‑owned, multi‑specialty medical groups. More than 700 physicians and 300 associate practitioners work together in a unique integrated care model to provide high‑quality care to Kaiser Permanente members. Care is delivered across 40+ specialties at 26 medical offices featuring state‑of‑the‑art equipment, labs, imaging services, and pharmacies. What You Can Expect

• Perform comprehensive eye exams, prescribe medication, and perform ophthalmic surgeries within training scope including cataract surgery.
• Diagnosis and treat eye disease and visual problems.
• Provide patient care in medical and surgical eye conditions.
• Educate patients on their condition and treatment options and work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Minimum Requirements

• MD or DO, completion of an ophthalmology residency
• Board Certified or Eligible
• Currently licensed or able to obtain license in the State of Georgia
• BLS
