Senior Data Center Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Center Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and physical infrastructure of a high-availability data center environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting. This is an onsite position based in Hudson County, NJ.
Starting at $150,000/year. Senior Data Center Engineer's Responsibilities and Duties:- Install, rack, stack, and cable servers, switches, routers, and storage systems
- Maintain and support data center infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and availability
- Perform routine hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment lifecycle management
- Support network connectivity and cabling standards across the data center floor
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to coordinate installs, upgrades, and decommissions
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a Data Center Engineer or similar role
- Experience in a regulated, high-availability, or latency-sensitive environment; financial services or trading environment experience a plus
- CCNA Certification a plus
- Network+ Certification a plus
- Security+ Certification a plus
- Hands-on experience with server, switch, router, and storage installation and cabling
