Brand Ambassador, Dries van Noten

The Opportunity:

Dries Van Noten is seeking a Part-Time Brand Ambassador to drive sales and elevate the client experience at Bloomingdale's 59th Street. Reporting directly to the Dries Van Noten Business Manager, this role combines exceptional client service, relationship building, and a deep appreciation for luxury fashion, beauty, and craftsmanship. As a Dries Van Noten Brand Ambassador within a premier wholesale retail environment, you will embody the brand's unique creative vision, cultivate lasting client relationships, exceed sales goals, and ensure the brand is represented to the highest standards. You will partner closely with both the Dries Van Noten team and Bloomingdale's associates to deliver an elevated shopping experience while supporting business objectives and brand growth.

What You'll Get To Do:

Sales Excellence

• Maintain knowledge of industry and market trends to continually evolve and optimize selling strategies within the luxury retail environment
• Deliver an exceptional Dries Van Noten client experience, demonstrating expertise in the brand's collection, heritage, and distinctive approach to luxury
• Build rapport with returning clients by understanding their preferences and needs, ensuring a personalized and seamless shopping experience
• Showcase Dries Van Noten's assortment, including beauty and lifestyle offerings, providing tailored recommendations and memorable client experiences
• Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and KPI targets through strategic clienteling, cross-selling, and client retention
• Leverage clienteling and CRM tools to capture client information, drive loyalty, and support personalized outreach efforts
• Partner with the Dries Van Noten Business Manager and Bloomingdale's teams to maximize sales opportunities, support in-store events, and drive business growth
• Contribute ideas and feedback that support client acquisition, productivity, and overall business performance

Client Experience & Brand Expertise

• Build and nurture long-term client relationships through personalized outreach, appointments, events, and new launch activations
• Provide exceptional after-sales service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering loyalty
• Create elevated shopping experiences that reflect each client's individual style, preferences, and aspirations
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Dries Van Noten's brand heritage, collections, craftsmanship, and product offerings
• Actively participate in product presentations, training sessions, and educational opportunities to stay informed on new launches, industry innovations, and emerging trends
• Serve as a true brand ambassador by sharing the story, artistry, creativity, and vision of Dries Van Noten with authenticity and passion
• Uphold the brand's commitment to excellence through meticulous attention to product presentation, care, and detail

Operations

• Support daily counter operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, tester maintenance, and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain Dries Van Noten brand presentation and merchandising guidelines while adhering to Bloomingdale's operational requirements
• Assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and shrink prevention initiatives
• Support the execution of product launches, events, animations, and clienteling activations
• Partner with the Dries Van Noten Business Manager to ensure operational excellence and achievement of business objectives
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually compelling selling environment that reflects the brand's standards of luxury and creativity

We'd Love To Meet You If You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in luxury retail, beauty, fragrance, fashion, or lifestyle sales
• Proven ability to build strong client relationships and consistently achieve sales targets
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and storytelling skills
• Passion for luxury, creativity, craftsmanship, and delivering elevated client experiences
• A proactive, adaptable, and dependable attitude
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours as needed
• Experience with clienteling tools and CRM platforms is preferred
• Ability to lift/move boxes as needed for inventory replenishment up to 25 pounds
• Ability to perform essential job functions, including prolonged standing and walking

Compensation:

As required by New York State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.00-$27.00 per hour. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
