Quality Engineer

Come join us in our mission to build stronger communities by strengthening their financial institutions.RESPONSIBILITIES:Create and maintain comprehensive test plans based on Use Cases and Customer RequirementsCreate and maintain suites of automated test scripts across multiple products using Selenium and PythonExecute and contribute to manual tests efforts as neededDocument defects with details and diagnostic informationWork closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other testers to deliver quality solutions to our customersParticipate in and contribute test effort estimates in Sprint/Release planning sessionsBe passionate about driving software qualityAccurately track and report time against multiple projectsUtilize your expertise and knowledge to help drive QA best practices and process improvementsTrain and mentor peersEXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.5+ years professional quality assurance and testing experience, with an emphasis on test automationStrong experience in testing web-based software solutions (both front end and back-end services)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teaming skills especially with highly technical team membersStrong test plan organization and test execution planning skills across multiple projectsPassionate about the work, proactive work ethic, and a highly motivated attitude to provide excellence in software qualityProven test automation experience using Selenium with PythonExperience working in small, highly efficient teams with a high degree of collaboration prowessExperience with version control systems such as GitExperience with defect tracking systems; JIRA, QTest considered a plusExperience testing web services and RESTful APIs considered a plusExperience with SQL#LI-KH1#LI-REMOTEAt Q2, our goal is to be a diverse and inclusive workforce that fosters mutual respect for our employees and the communities we serve.
