HR Data Entry Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Data Entry Clerk to join our Human Resources team. Job Responsibilities
- Accurately input, update, and maintain employee information in the HR database and dashboards.
- Verify data accuracy by comparing input to source documents.
- Review and correct data entry errors submitted by staff.
- Scan and attach relevant documents into the electronic employee files.
- Assist in processing employee changes such as terminations, and personal information updates.
- Generate standard reports from the HR database as requested by HR staff or management.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Participate in HR audits by providing data reports and supporting documentation.
- Respond to inquiries regarding data entry or data issues from employees or management.
- Coordinate with HR team members to ensure consistency of data entry practices.
- Assist with the development of data management procedures to streamline HR processes.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws and best practices.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
- Assist with data retrieval and analysis for various HR projects and initiatives.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position
- Engage with customers in an inviting, friendly, and professional manner to deliver exceptional
experiences
- Excellent typing skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Familiarity with HR systems and databases
- Knowledge of data privacy standards and regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Capacity to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Basic understanding of human resources functions and best practices
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technologies
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies and legal guidelines
