Electronic Assembler

Responsibilities Performs various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies, and other complex duties as assigned. Uses visual aids, drawings and verbal and written instruction to assemble, modify, re‑work or re‑assemble units. Receives detailed instruction on new assignments. Certified to IPC‑J‑STD. Certified to Acceptability of Electronic assemblies' good mechanical aptitude. IPC‑D‑610 which defines criteria for acceptance standards. Identifies component values. Hands‑loads PCB assembly following schematics and visual aides. Solders various electronic component sizes following industry standards set by IPC‑J‑STD, including fine‑pitch components. Reads, understands and follows written instructions. Reads/interpret customer, engineering drawings or visual aids and incorporates call‑outs onto assembly. Solders under a microscope. Identifies and repairs soldering anomalies. Solders with lead and lead‑free solder. Attends off‑site training classes as required to maintain certification requirements (e.g., JSTD). Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. U.S. citizenship. Will provide on‑the‑job training (OJT). Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling. Highly flexible individual with good interpersonal and communication skills. Self‑starter, able to plan, execute, and follow through on assigned tasks. 3–5 years of J‑STD soldering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Benefits Bonus or equity eligible as part of the total compensation package. Pay range: 17.64–32.74 (local currency). Eligibility U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contractual requirements.
