- Work Location: In person
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in line with dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools/service equipment to assess components and systems
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, steering, and air conditioning
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are informed of additional needs and accurate repair timelines
- Provide estimates of repair times and costs when additional service is required
- Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain high-quality workmanship, thorough documentation, and clear communication
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
- 2+ years of service technician experience preferred
- Ford Certification preferred
- Prior experience at a Ford dealership preferred
- B-level technician qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to use electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and physical stamina to work on your feet and lift 50 lbs+
- Positive, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new technologies, procedures, and specifications
