As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch care to patients with diverse medical needs. You will work closely with a supportive team, including charge nurses and cardiac techs, to ensure the best outcomes for your patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, with the ability to handle up to 6 patients
• Administering and titrating drips such as Heparin, Bumex, and Lasix
• Collaborating with a 24/7 nursing supervisor and charge nurses
• Utilizing EPIC for documentation and participating in bedside shift reports
• Floating to IMCU for Med Surg assignments as needed
• Adhering to a dress code of navy blue scrubs

Requirements for this role include:

• Current BLS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certifications
• Experience with EPIC documentation
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Ability to work both day and night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays as needed
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
