Legal Assistant – Litigation Support

A well-established, multi-office law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys working as an integral member of a collaborative team.

What You'll Do

As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you'll provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys, including:

• Preparing, formatting, proofreading, and managing legal documents
• Supporting all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and court filings
• Managing attorney calendars, deadlines, and case files
• Coordinating document production and electronic file management
• Communicating professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
• Prioritizing multiple assignments while meeting critical deadlines
• Providing proactive support and exercising sound judgment with minimal supervision

Litigation support experience is required. We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and confident managing the demands of a busy litigation practice.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and legal document preparation
• Excellent document production and Microsoft Office skills
• Outstanding organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and colleagues
• Insurance defense experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $28.00–$32.00 per hour , based on experience
