As a Security Officer Access Control in Fort Collins, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain accurate access records. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $19.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a food and beverage production or distribution location, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery access in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records; issue and retrieve visitor credentials and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
