Senior Autonomy/AI Research Engineer

Senior Autonomy/AI Research Engineer Location: Hybrid – San Jose, CA office (with on‑site requirement three days per week, Thursday, Wednesday, and Tuesday) and 1–3 overseas trips to East Asia per year. Responsibilities Lead the enhancement of autonomous operation technology for semiconductor equipment, focusing on embedded control, complex hardware‑software integration, and knowledge capture. Translate ideas into production‑ready code. Collaborate with East Asian colleagues during evenings and support projects remotely. Report to the SanJose office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). Key Requirements Creative, out‑of‑the‑box thinker. Qualifications 7+ years of relevant experience in computer science/AI research, software engineering, machine learning, scheduling and planning, or knowledge representation. 3+ years of experience with complex hardware and software systems.
