Ag Operations Manager — Crop Production & Logistics

Justin Seed Company is seeking an Operations Manager to join its team in Justin, TX, to lead daily operations and support crop production. Justin Seed Company is a well-established agricultural operation specializing in seed, fertilizer, and related services. What appears to be a small co-op-style operation operates with a strong regional presence, serving contractors and agricultural customers across multiple states. We are hiring an Operations Manager to join our team in Justin, Texas. The Operations Manager oversees the daily operations, logistics, inventory, equipment maintenance, and customer fulfillment for a seed and fertilizer distribution business serving landscape contractors, turf managers, growers, and commercial accounts. This role ensures products are grown properly in the field as well as stored, blended, packaged, and delivered efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee crop production operations, including dry/liquid applications, irrigation coordination, and harvest processes Coordinate daily workflow between departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of labor and equipment Manage mechanics and oversee farm equipment repairs and preventative maintenance schedules Monitor work orders, maintenance updates, and machine assets Maintain accurate operational records and ensure required state and federal documentation Serve as an internal resource to the sales team by answering calls, creating invoices, and preparing shipment quotes Support overall team performance by maintaining clear communication and operational accountability Qualifications: Experience working with farm equipment and agricultural production operations Experience managing crews and coordinating equipment maintenance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr AgHires
