USA - Bench Scientist - I - USD

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Bench Scientist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Pearl River, NY, 10965. Details of the position are as follows: Job Description Pay: $42.50/hr to start. 1 year contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance. Position will mainly be responsible for conducting laboratory experiments, preparing and analyzing samples, operating laboratory instruments, performing routine testing, and supporting research and development activities. Responsibilities also include recording experimental procedures and results, following GLP, SOPs, and laboratory safety guidelines, maintaining accurate documentation, preparing samples, and keeping the laboratory clean and organized. Position will also be responsible for working with scientists to troubleshoot experiments, reviewing and interpreting data, supporting project goals, and assisting with daily laboratory operations. Qualifications Bachelors degree at a minimum is required! 2+ years’ experience within a biotech/pharma/ academic research setting is preferred. Experience in a BSL2 environment is preferred.
