Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

Location: Vincennes, Indiana Position Type: Full-Time Physician Medical Oncology / Hematology Overview A full-time opportunity in a comprehensive cancer care setting offering strong support, modern facilities, and an excellent work-life balance. The role includes both oncology and hematology with mostly outpatient responsibilities. Practice Highlights • Comprehensive cancer center (accredited) • 4 4.5-day work week with limited home call • 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient • Approx. 80% Oncology / 20% Hematology (solid tumors: breast, lung, colon, prostate) • Rapid ramp-up with 30+ new patients per month • Access to advanced imaging equipment (MRI, CT, Ultrasound) • Experienced APPs, nurse navigators, and support team • Clinic located close to radiation oncology, infusion, radiology, and inpatient services • Hospitalist team handles admissions ; oncologist provides consults • Optional teaching opportunities through accredited residency programs Candidate Requirements • BC/BE in Medical Oncology or Hematology • Eligible for Indiana medical license • Strong clinical and communication skills • Interest in outpatient-focused oncology care Schedule & Coverage • 4 4.5-day work week • Limited home call • Majority outpatient with small inpatient consult volume • Credentialing and onboarding support provided Compensation & Benefits • Competitive compensation with sign-on and bonus options • Medical, dental, retirement plans (401k/457), paid vacation, CME time and allowance • Paid holidays, malpractice coverage, and relocation assistance • Supportive environment with physician wellness resources Why Vincennes, Indiana?
