General Manager

Vista Brewing is seeking a passionate and experienced restaurant management professional to join our team and uphold Vista’s company values of Integrity, Intelligence, and Inspiration. Must love craft beer and restaurant operations!

This role will oversee operations of Vista’s Driftwood Tasting Room and Restaurant. You will be accountable for all aspects of the guest experience, including Beer Garden food & beverage service and execution of Private Events. We are seeking a GM who is committed to leading with integrity, building relationships with Vista’s team & guests, and making an impact on the success of the business.

Requirements:

• Five to seven years’ experience in a management role at a high-volume, upscale-casual restaurant operation. Desired, but not required, if you have experience in the craft brewing industry or at a beer-focused restaurant.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• The highest level of professionalism, enthusiasm, positivity, and integrity
• A warm and welcoming hospitality-focused mentality
• A proven track record of building & training teams and maintaining positive team morale
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
• Operations management approach grounded in data and analysis (spreadsheets are a must!)
• Wednesday to Sunday work week, as well as some holidays 
• The ability to lift heavy objects (such as 160lb kegs, picnic tables) and work in a Hill Country ranch environment 
• Handy with power tools
• Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification. Vista will sponsor you to attain this within your first 90 days.
• TABC and Food Handler certified
