Operations Director Benefits & Compensation

Salary range $150,000 to $165,000, commensurate with experience

Operations Director Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of operational management experience, ideally within healthcare or medical office settings

Demonstrated expertise in HR, marketing, and revenue cycle management

Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional staff

Strong financial acumen for budgeting and growth planning

Ability to provide a two-week notice before starting

Operations Director Preferred Background & Skills

Experience managing practice operations within ambulatory, clinic, or specialty medical environments

Exposure to mergers and acquisitions or expanding practice groups

Working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems (specific EMR experience not required)

Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills

Operations Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day administrative and operational functions for a clinic with over $10M annual revenue and a growing team of 20+ staff

Lead HR activities, including recruiting, onboarding, conflict resolution, and employee relations as the business expands

Manage the end-to-end revenue cycle, partnering with billing and clinical teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy

Develop and implement marketing strategies to support practice growth

Help drive expansion opportunities, including assessing M&A prospects and scaling infrastructure

Foster a positive workplace culture and support leadership with business planning and execution
