Join a scenic Pacific Northwest community in Hood River, Oregon, for a locum tenens Cardiology Nurse Practitioner job providing outpatient cardiology care, diagnostic support, and cardiac testing oversight in a collaborative care environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cardiology-focused Nurse Practitioner who enjoys outpatient care, cardiac testing workflows, and working alongside a multidisciplinary cardiology team. The initial assignment is 6 months with potential for extension based on ongoing need.

• Setting: Outpatient cardiology clinic and hospital-based cardiac testing support
• Schedule: Wednesday through Friday
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Shift Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with lunch incorporated into the shift
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,820 to $4,100
• Assignment Length: 6 months with extension potential
• Patient Encounters: Approximately 12 patients per shift
• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• Location: Hood River, Oregon

• Active Nurse Practitioner license
• Current DEA registration
• Board certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience required; cardiology or outpatient specialty experience preferred
• Comfort working in an outpatient cardiology setting and supporting diagnostic testing workflows
• Strong EKG interpretation skills and confidence reviewing cardiac device-related information

• Provide outpatient cardiology care for clinic patients in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Supervise echocardiogram and nuclear exercise stress testing
• Perform and oversee in-office cardiac device checks
• Interpret EKGs and sign off on cardiac device checks
• Collaborate with the cardiology care team to support efficient patient flow and high-quality patient care
• Deliver patient-centered care in a busy outpatient cardiology environment
