Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float between MedSurg ICU and Neuro ICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Primary patient ratio of 2:1 in a 16-bed Medical-Surgical ICU unit
• Clinical lead on site 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 7 days per week with shift leader support during nights
• CNAs and LPNs available to assist RNs
• Primary case types include stroke care, cerebral monitoring and drains, ventilators, drips, chest tubes, spinal drains, JPs, and some CRRT patients
• May encounter logging accidents, motorcycle accidents, and snowmobile accidents depending on season
• Minimum 2 years of MedSurg and ICU experience required with strong Neuro experience
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS
• CCRN preferred but not required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color

This facility is a Level 2 trauma center offering comprehensive critical care services including Medical-Surgical ICU and Neuro ICU capabilities. The unit specializes in stroke care, sepsis management, respiratory failure, alcohol detox, and neurological cases, supported by a well-structured team of clinical leads, shift leaders, CNAs, and LPNs to ensure high-quality patient care around the clock.
