Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Plainview, TX 79072
Duration: 13 Weeks
Employment Type: Contract

• Day Shift: 3x12 Hours

• Timing: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Local Candidates: $1,600 – $1,800 per week

• Traveler Candidates: $1,900 – $2,100 per week

The Registered Nurse (ER) is responsible for delivering high-quality emergency care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and trauma. This role requires quick decision-making, strong clinical skills, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments.

• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies

• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on severity

• Treat critical injuries, trauma cases, and allergic reactions

• Assist with or perform minor medical procedures

• Clean and dress wounds appropriately

• Draw blood and perform necessary diagnostic procedures

• Maintain emergency room care standards and protocols

• Assist with patient intake and insurance-related documentation

• Ensure efficient patient flow and check-in processes

• Demonstrate strong decision-making in fast-paced, high-stress situations

Certifications & Licenses:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA required

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA required

• NIHSS certification required

• TNCC certification required

• Active Texas RN License required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience required

• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment

• Ability to work effectively under pressure

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• High attention to detail and patient safety

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
