Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Sales Associate role based at our Sunglass Hut store in Tysons Corner, VA. The Sales Associate greets customers, learns their preferences, and provides personalized product recommendations to create an engaging shopping experience. Responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, explaining features and benefits, processing sales and returns, and handling transactions accurately. The role also involves supporting visual merchandising, keeping the store clean and organized, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with stock replenishment. Sales Associates collaborate with the store team to meet sales goals, uphold brand standards, and ensure every customer leaves feeling valued and inspired. Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide personalized assistance. Sales and retail skills, including basic understanding of upselling, cross-selling, and working toward individual and store targets. Communication skills, with clear, friendly, and professional spoken communication and active listening. Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple customers, tasks, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with point-of-sale systems, basic math, and handling cash and electronic payments accurately. Interest in fashion, accessories, and eyewear trends, with willingness to learn detailed product features and benefits. Ability to stand for extended periods, move product, and maintain store standards throughout the shift. Collaborative mindset and reliability, with openness to coaching and working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
