Full-service regional law firm is seeking a Municipal Attorney to join their Downtown Seattle, WA office. This firm advises public-sector clients on a broad range of municipal matters and offers attorneys the opportunity to work on substantive issues involving local government operations, compliance, litigation, and public policy.

This firm offers a strong compensation package, hybrid flexibility, meaningful municipal law work, and a reasonable billable target of 1700.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support and advise City Councils, Mayors, City staff, and local boards and commissions.
• Represent municipal clients in litigation, administrative appeals, hearings, and other proceedings.
• Research and analyze complex municipal law issues.
• Draft and review ordinances, resolutions, policies, and procedures.
• Counsel clients on compliance with state, federal, and local laws.

Salary and Benefits : The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $175,000 base with objective and subjective bonuses, historical average totaling additional $30K-55K. Benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage; flexible paid time off; life and short-term disability insurance; 401(k) with retirement contributions historically at 10%.

Qualifications:

• Active attorney license in Washington or eligibility for admissions
• At least 3 years of legal experience in municipal law, including litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
