We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented team.Location:Wilmington, DE/ Columbus, OHJob Responsibilities:Participates in, design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Java to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teamsExecutes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshootingCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces or contributes to architecture and design artifacts for applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsIdentifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stabilityProficient in coding in Java languagesExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleUnderstanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityKnowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Expertise in React and JavaScriptPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsFamiliarity with modern front-end technologiesExposure to cloud technologiesSpecific attributes such as AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, REST, Terraform, Spring Boot, JMeter, LoadRunner, and Dynatrace can be considered as bonuses or nice to have, but not hard requirements.Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
