Express Employment Professionals is looking for an experienced mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting, isn't afraid to tackle different repairs, and brings welding skills to the shop. You'll have the opportunity to work independently while being part of a dependable, experienced team.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of trucks, trailers, and commercial equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Complete inspections and ensure equipment meets DOT and safety standards
• Weld and fabricate components as needed
• Maintain accurate repair records using a computer or laptop
• Monitor shop inventory and assist with parts organization
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safety-focused

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience repairing heavy trucks, trailers, or commercial equipment
• Welding experience preferred
• Ability to earn or possess DOT Inspector certification and a Class A CDL
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs and work in a fast-paced shop environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
