Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst for a top utility infrastructure client. This individual will support project and program management teams by developing reporting solutions, dashboards, and performance metrics that provide visibility into major utility initiatives. The Data Analyst will be responsible for transforming complex project data into actionable insights, maintaining reporting accuracy, and helping leadership make informed decisions through data-driven analysis. The ideal candidate has strong Power BI expertise, excellent reporting and visualization skills, and the ability to effectively communicate trends, risks, and opportunities to project stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building dashboards from the ground up, telling a story with data, and supporting critical infrastructure programs through meaningful analytics.

Skills and Requirements

• 2-5 years of data analytics experience

• 3-5 years of Power BI experience

• Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards from scratch

• Strong Excel and reporting skills

• Knowledge of data visualization best practices

• Utility, engineering, construction, or infrastructure industry experience

• Experience supporting project-based organizations

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights

• Comfortable working directly with project managers and business leaders - Experience supporting utility infrastructure programs

• Advanced dashboard design and data storytelling capabilities

• Experience with project performance reporting and forecasting

• Compliance and operational reporting experience

• Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills

• Experience identifying trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities
