You will be working for our client, a technology company that is building AI-driven accessibility infrastructure focused on document accessibility, OCR enhancement, and semantic structure reconstruction for blind and print-disabled users around the world. They develop specialized multimodal models and are currently scaling their automated document remediation platform for production inference across server and edge environments.

In your day-to-day, you will

• Optimize multimodal AI models for production inference across server and edge environments
• Package and deploy transformer and vision-based models
• Improve GPU efficiency, throughput, and latency
• Apply quantization and model optimization techniques
• Build scalable inference pipelines
• Support document AI workflows including OCR, layout analysis, and semantic reconstruction
• Collaborate closely with the internal engineering and AI development team

Skills you have

• Strong Python experience
• Experience with PyTorch
• Familiarity with Hugging Face tooling and ecosystems
• Experience deploying and optimizing AI/ML models in production
• Experience with transformer architectures and/or computer vision models
• Understanding of inference optimization techniques
• Linux development experience
• Experience working with GPU-based systems

Skills that will make you stand out

• Experience with multimodal AI systems
• Experience with ONNX, TensorRT, vLLM, or similar inference frameworks
• Document AI or OCR experience
• Layout-aware model experience
• Accessibility technology experience
• AWS or cloud GPU deployment experience
• Familiarity with NLP concepts and pipelines
